The extremely slow Syrian refugee admission process might be the least efficient route for ISIS to use to to sneak an attacker into the United States—but that hasn’t stopped Republican presidential candidates, even the supposedly moderate ones, from declaring after the Paris attacks that admissions be stopped until even more stringent security measures are put in place. In other news:

  • French officials already on the hunt for a suspect named Salah Abdeslam said they’re now looking for a second fugitive who may have helped carry out Friday’s shooting attacks on bars and restaurants.
  • Russian officials said for the first time that they believe the Oct. 31 crash of Metrojet Flight 9268 was caused by a bomb.
  • Protests broke out in Minnesota after a 24-year-old black man was shot and killed by police under disputed circumstances.
  • A Germany-Netherlands soccer match in the German city of Hannover was canceled after the discovery of an alleged bomb plot.
  • And the percentage of Americans who say terrorism is the most important issue facing the country doubled in four days.

Have a good day out there.
